Podiatry
About
Mr McManus has expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal biomechanical and sports injury related problems of the foot and ankle. He is able to use diagnostic ultrasound to diagnose the problem and offers his patients evidence-based treatment for a wide range of foot and ankle problems.
Other treatments he offers include shockwave therapy, injection therapy, orthotic therapy, and pressure analysis.
Mr McManus was an extended scope MSK podiatrist for Circle Integrated Care in Greenwich for 3 years, where he was an integral part of a large multidisciplinary team. During his time there, he managed a wide range of complicated foot and ankle conditions and worked alongside other healthcare practitioners, including physiotherapists and podiatrists.
He is passionate about his field, and he gives educational workshops to physiotherapists, podiatrists, and trainee doctors via face-to-face talks as well as virtually.
Outside of work, Mr McManus is an active individual and enjoys playing football, walking his dog, and wine tasting. He has also completed the Dublin Marathon in 2017.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
