Dr. Khaled Ahmed Elhassanen is a highly experienced paediatrician with a 22-year career spanning multiple leading hospitals across the Middle East. He completed his primary degree in medicine at Mansoura University, Egypt in 1996 and earned a Master’s degree in Paediatrics from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2002. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Elhassanen obtained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH-UK) from London in 2018.
Dr. Elhassanen has served in several prestigious institutions, including Mansoura University Children's Hospital in Egypt, Ibri Regional Hospital in Oman, and Farwaniya Hospital in Kuwait. For the seven years leading up to his current role, he worked as a Specialist paediatrician at both Al Baraha Hospital in Dubai and Alzahra Hospital in Sharjah. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Elhassanen contributed to academia by serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at Sharjah Medical College from 2013 to 2018.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Dr. Elhassanen has completed a Post Graduate Paediatric Nutrition program in Boston, USA. He has also undertaken advanced paediatric resuscitation training through courses such as PALS and NRP (American Heart Association) and NLS (European Resuscitation Council).
