About Ms Kathryn Tilbury (KT)
Ms Kathryn Tilbury is an award-winning physiotherapist at Third Space Sports Medicine and Precision Movement. An ex-professional dancer, a highly trained boxer and now a runner she has firsthand experience of training at elite levels of sport. She has more than 12 years of experience in strength and conditioning as well as injury rehabilitation. She has worked with both GB and international athletes and is able to treat patients with MSK injuries, strength and stability deficits postural imbalance, and general aches and pains. She takes an empathetic, logical, and clear approach to treatment and aims to take into account the multiple factors involved in the management of each condition. She is able to offer her patients bespoke treatment programmes and educate clients on lifestyle factors to improve their healing and recovery. In addition, she provides sports massage for recreational athletes. Her expertise is in the following areas: • Running and endurance sports injuries • Hip, knee, and ankle injuries • Exercise rehabilitation Ms Tilbury gained her undergraduate degree (1st class) in the science of sport and exercise at Roehampton University in 2008. She went on to attain her level 5 BTEC in massage therapy at the London School of Sports Massage. In 2019, she attended King's College London, where she gained a master's degree in physiotherapy (Distinction). Ms Tilbury is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
