About Dr Kai Koch
Dr. Kai Koch is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine with an interest Lifestyle Medicine, based in Chelsea. He has a special interest in Lifestyle Medicine and is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Koch is actively involved in research and lectures on the health benefits of lifestyle medicine and the use of movement as a form of medicine. He has appeared on multiple podcasts to discuss these topics. As part of Dr. Koch's extensive experience, he has worked at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and at Nottingham University Hospital. His clinical training has covered various areas, including psychiatry, internal medicine, gastroenterology, trauma, orthopaedics, surgery, renal medicine, cardiology, respiratory medicine, oncology, and haematology. In 2023, Dr. Koch founded Little Longevity, a company with a mission to help individuals achieve small, achievable, and incremental daily health improvements using evidence-informed, personalised medicine approaches. While continuing to work within the NHS to improve staff and patient health, Dr. Koch also focuses on integrating and teaching Lifestyle Medicine at medical schools in London. He has a background in Sport, Exercise, and Lifestyle Medicine and holds a Masters in Sport, Exercise, and Health with Distinction from UCL.
