About Ms Josie Porter
Ms Josie Porter is a dedicated dietitian at The Gut Health Clinic, specialising in bariatric surgery, weight management, type 2 diabetes and women's health. She has previously worked in some of the top London clinics and has learnt from leading healthcare professionals. She is able to offer tailored treatment to each individual and thoroughly assesses each patient before providing comprehensive nutritional advice. Ms Porter has successfully helped clients with sustainable weight loss, disordered eating such as binge-eating, and optimising the nutritional status of bariatric patients. She also has expertise in IBS management and the low FODMAP diet and can support patients with the management of this condition through diet and lifestyle changes. Following the completion of her bachelor's degree in dietetics, Ms Porter went on to complete a master's degree in 2018. She also has post-graduate training in sports nutrition and is able to assist clients with training, performance, and body composition goals. Prior to her current role, Ms Porter worked in the acute healthcare setting within a number of areas including endocrinology, mental health, and gastroenterology. She is passionate about what she does and aims to support patients in their journey to health improvement.
