About Mr Joshua Congdon
Josh Congdon is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and the founder of Reflex-18 Injury Clinic, a healthcare service based in Stanway, Colchester that provides evidence-based rehabilitation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. Josh graduated with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Performance from Writtle University College in 2009, followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Essex in 2011. He later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Imaging (Ultrasound) in 2018, and in 2020 achieved a Master’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. With more than a decade of clinical experience, including eight years in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist, Josh has worked across hospital, private practice, and sports settings. His career includes roles at Ipswich Town Football Club’s academy and, more recently, with Colchester Rugby Club. His areas of expertise include exercise prescription, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, with a particular interest in lower limb injuries. He combines progressive rehabilitation techniques with hands-on treatment to support patients in returning to physical activity. Outside of clinical practice, Josh enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new adventures together.
