About Mr Jonathan Codling
Jonathan Codling is a Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive experience in sports injury management, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal health. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, completed in 2012, and has worked across professional sport, private practice, and the NHS. Jonathan’s interest in physiotherapy developed through his background as an international field hockey player, where his own experience with injury and recovery shaped his understanding of the importance of targeted rehabilitation. His academic and professional training has equipped him with expertise in injury prevention screening, return-to-play rehabilitation, and the management of lower back pain. He has worked with Premier League football and rugby clubs, as well as Olympic athletes preparing for the London 2012 Games, gaining valuable insight into the demands of elite performance and recovery. Jonathan’s clinical focus includes the assessment and treatment of foot, ankle, knee, and shoulder conditions, with a particular interest in tendon injuries.
