He attended Robinson College Cambridge University in 1989 and completed his clinical training at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine. Following this, he undertook his orthopaedic training rotation at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Additionally, he has completed a hand fellowship at the Pulvertaft Hand Unit, Derby, and a shoulder fellowship in Western Australia at Manus Orthopaedics.
