Dr Janine McKay is a sports chiropractor with more than 20 years of experience in the health industry. She specialises in functional medicine, nutrition, sports science, acupuncture, and strength and conditioning. Dr McKay is able to offer her clients new insights in order to live a healthy and pain-free life. She is dedicated to educating her clients to help them make long-term changes in their lives and to be in control of their own health. Dr McKay takes a holistic approach to health and uses many tools such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, health coaching, and functional medicine. Dr McKay has worked with all different kinds of people including athletes, manual labourers, first-time exercisers, and weekend warriors and anything in-between.
Dr McKay has a wealth of knowledge and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Science of Canada. She also has a Master's degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia along with a post graduate certificate in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States and certification in Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University in Canada. Dr McKay has also published a number of articles in medical journals including the Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma and the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research.
