He received eight years of dedicated plastic and reconstructive surgery training from the renowned Freiburg University Medical Center in Germany before moving to the UAE in 2013. In the field of aesthetic surgery, he is well known for his ethical and honest approach, providing patients with detailed explanations of procedures. His main areas of interest are face, breast and body sculpturing. In reconstructive surgeries, Dr Jamil treats complicated face, breast and hand surgery cases that include face and hand trauma, as well as tumour cases.
Dr. Jamil Al Jamali has a particular expertise in performing surgeries of the hand, such as congenital hand anomaly correction, acute hand trauma including fingers replantation, fractures fixation, carpal tunnel release, hand burns and treatment of excessive sweating. He is a founder member of the Gulf Wound Management Association (GWMA), and is a member of the German Society of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Egyptian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, the Emirates Society of Plastic Surgery, AO Craniofacial Surgery, Interplast Germany, the Pan Arab Hand and Microsurgery Society, and others. He is a member of the Kidz Smile Sudan (KSS) Charity group.
When Dr. Al Jamali gets some time away from his busy work schedule, he pursues his love for playing the piano, learning languages, and travelling. He can converse with his patients in Arabic, English and German.
