About James Phillips
James Phillips is a highly skilled Strength and Conditioning Coach with over 10 years of experience in the field. In the past year James joined Better, offering Strength and Conditioning service at Soho and Liverpool Street facilities. He also works at Pure Sports Medicine in Canary Wharf. James is an expert in providing Strength and Conditioning training, consultancy & guidance for a variety of sporting individuals and is experienced with force plate testing for injury rehabilitation and performance. He is known for designing holistic training plans for active individuals and is the co-founder of the course 'The Complete ACL Journey', which has made him a leading expert in ACL end-stage rehabilitation and return to performance. James' expertise in ACL rehabilitation has allowed him to successfully help patients with a variety of ACL injuries. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strength and Conditioning from Middlesex University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport Science and Maths from Loughborough University. James has worked with elite athletes in various sports including Saracens Rugby Club, English Institute of Sport, British Athletics, and British Fencing. He has also become specialised in end-stage rehabilitation, working with a wide range of patients from recreational athletes to those with complex multi-ligament injuries. In addition to his professional achievements, James is passionate about sports and enjoys playing golf, weight training and endurance running.
