About Mr James Moran
James Moran is a highly experienced Performance Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian, with over a decade of experience in both clinical nutrition and sports performance nutrition. His extensive clinical background includes working across diverse specialties such as diabetes, gut disorders, oncology, surgery, intensive care, orthopaedics, cancer, obesity, and disordered eating. After years of clinical practice, James transitioned into sports nutrition, where he has made a significant impact. James has provided nutrition support to numerous elite athletes and professional teams, with a particular focus on endurance sports. His recent work includes collaborating with Kevin Sinfield OBE on the Extra Mile and Ultra7 Challenges and supporting Ineos Grenadiers Cycling Team, British Cycling, Team GB, and The English Institute of Sport during the Tour de France and Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Currently, James is the Head of Nutrition for Uno-X Pro Cycling Team, where he leads the team’s nutritional strategies to optimise performance. He also offers consultancy services to a wide range of individual athletes, professional sports teams, universities, and industry clients. With a unique combination of clinical knowledge and sports-specific expertise, James is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalised nutrition strategies to enhance health, performance, and recovery for his clients.
