About
James has extensive experience working in elite and community sport. He has supported local rugby and football teams and previously worked within the recovery department at Leinster Rugby. His international experience includes working with players from the Hollywood Bets Sharks rugby union team in Durban, South Africa. Today, he continues to enjoy working closely with local sports teams and active individuals.
A particular focus of James’s practice is helping people manage persistent pain, which he views as one of the most significant challenges in modern healthcare. He has undertaken specialist training in Cognitive Functional Therapy and integrates its principles into his treatments. He also has a special interest in temporomandibular and craniomandibular dysfunction. Outside the clinic, James enjoys endurance running, tag rugby, softball, and learning padel.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
— Mr James Heron
