About Dr Jack Ogden
Dr Ogden is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best lives through improved health. As a qualified GP, a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and a Member of the British Association of Lifestyle Medicine, his commitment to providing holistic healthcare is evident. Additionally, he is certified by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr Ogden's journey began with a degree in Neuroscience, followed by medical training at the University of Bristol. After completing his training, he received the Arthur L. Rose Scholarship at the State University of New York. Upon returning to the UK, he worked as a doctor at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and full-time in both hospital and community-based diabetes services. Currently, he is a partner in a busy NHS GP practice and also engages in private work. Beyond clinical practice, Dr Ogden pursued a master’s degree in Medical Law, which led to an academic role at the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute and the Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Bristol, supported by a Wellcome Trust award. Dr Ogden is passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle in his personal life, as well as his professional work. His young family keeps him active, and he regularly runs, mountain bikes, and road cycles. When time permits, he enjoys skiing and climbing in the mountains.
