About
Dr Ioannis Gonianakis is a dentist based at Perfect Smile in Earlsfield. He gained his dental degree (DipDS) in 2011 from the University of Athens before joining the Greek army as a military dentist in the oral surgery and restorative dentistry department. He then practised in general dentistry before moving to the UK, where he joined a family practice; continuing to further his professional portfolio and putting to practice his skills with patients in the UK.
He is passionate about aesthetic dentistry and has undertaken advanced training in aesthetic dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. He is also an Invisalign provider and is able to offer facial aesthetics to patients such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
Most recently, he has completed the foundation implant dentistry course and is a member of the international team for implantology; broadening his scope of practice and expertise.
Dr Gonianakis is an advocate of preventative dentistry and has expertise in advanced restorative dental treatments. He takes great pride in his work and enjoys treating his patients, whether it be for pain relief or cosmetic enhancement; working to improve their oral health and their confidence.
Outside of the dental practice, he likes to stay active and enjoys travelling.
