He has taught at the University of Birmingham, delivered exam-preparation courses for FRCPath candidates, and lectures at the University of Wolverhampton. His research includes developing a COVID-19 severity scoring equation published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine (2023) and pioneering work on the Bone Marrow Drill, presented at the British Society of Haematology (2023).
