She graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmic training across the West Midlands and Scotland, before undertaking a dedicated subspecialty fellowship in Leicester.
Ms Bhatt is actively involved in research and has delivered both national and international presentations, alongside publishing peer-reviewed work in oculoplastics. She is also committed to surgical education, regularly teaching on national courses and supporting regional training programmes.
