Mr Sargeant is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery. He gained extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. This internationally renowned post provided advanced training in patient specific instrumentation, orthopaedic planning software, navigation and robotic assisted arthroplasty.

Following his BSc (Hons) at the University of St Andrews, and medical degree at the University of Edinburgh in 2011, Mr Sargeant completed his Orthopaedic training in Scotland. He undertook a short visiting fellowship to the Endoklinik, Hamburg before completing training in 2022.

In addition to his private practice, Mr Sargeant works within NHS Tayside where he manages a broad range of musculoskeletal trauma cases and leads on infection within the orthopaedic department. He holds an honorary post with the University of Dundee and is actively involved in research, teaching, and surgical training within the East of Scotland Orthopaedic Training Programme.
