About Dr Hannah Chapman
Dr Hannah Chapman is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of breast cancer, practising at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester and at The Christie Private Care. She provides expert care in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, endocrine therapy and radiotherapy, supporting patients to understand all treatment options available. She studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, completing a BA in Pharmacology in 2003, before continuing her clinical studies at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School, graduating in 2006. Her clinical oncology training was completed in the East Midlands and North London. In 2014, she was awarded an MSc in Oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London, where she undertook research into the health economics of chemotherapy for early breast cancer. Dr Chapman was appointed as a consultant at North Middlesex University Hospital in 2018 before moving to Manchester in 2020 to join The Christie. She leads postgraduate education for oncology trainees and remains active in medical education. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and a member of the Royal College of Physicians. Her NHS practice includes running chemotherapy and radiotherapy services for breast cancer at The Christie and at Tameside General Hospital.
