About

Gerry Keenan is a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown, in 1996. He worked within the health service and in private practice before establishing the Dunshaughlin Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 2002. Over the past two decades, he has developed the clinic into a centre focused on musculoskeletal therapy and the management of spinal and sports-related conditions.
Gerry has a background in competitive sport, having played Gaelic football for the Tyrone Under-21 team and captained the Northern Ireland College basketball team during university. He remains involved in basketball coaching and participates in local sporting activities. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation, and the treatment of neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain, as well as sports injuries, neurological conditions, biomechanical issues, and workplace ergonomic assessment.
He is also an experienced practitioner of Stott Pilates and incorporates it into rehabilitation and functional training programmes. Alongside his clinical work, Gerry oversees the professional development of his physiotherapy team, ensuring consistent standards of musculoskeletal expertise across the clinic.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
