Dr Farshad Fakhimi is a well experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist based in Wokingham at Freedom Vision and SpaMedica. He completed his medical degree at the University of Vienna, Austra in 1998, followed by his training in general medicine in Austria and Germany, after-which he became a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr Fakhimi began working at Freedom Vision and SpaMedica in 2016 where he specialises in cataract and anterior segment surgery. In these practices, he performs over 4000 refractive lens exchange and cataract surgeries a year.

Since joining in 2016, Dr Fakhimi has also been involved in training surgeons in cataract surgical procedures.
