About Dr Fareeha Amber Sadiq
Dr Fareeha Amber Sadiq is a Psychiatrist based at Eleos Clinic where she is known to her patients as Dr Amber. She has a warm, patient-centred approach to patient care and believes that when given the right tools, people are able to enhance their lives. Dr Sadiq has worked with patients from all different backgrounds and works closely with families and colleagues to create individual treatment plans. If required, she is able to prescribe medication and can advise on issues such as sleep, diet, lifestyle, screen time and physical activity which may be having an impact on mental health. She is highly experienced and has worked in various settings including hospital paediatrics, intellectual disability, eating disorder, and substance misuse settings. She gained her medical qualifications from the University of Glasgow and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2007.
