Ms Dunya Mladenovic

Dunya Mladenovic is a Clinical Psychologist and an Internationally Certified Transactional Analyst, specialising in supporting individuals with eating disorders. With years of experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities involved in eating disorders, particularly focusing on the central role the body plays in these conditions. In addition to her work in transactional analysis, Dunya has expanded her expertise through additional education in body-centred psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allows her to offer a holistic approach to therapy. She works with clients individually as well as within group psychotherapy settings, always grounding her approach in building a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship. Dunya believes in the power of connection for healing, stating that it is through establishing a safe and supportive connection with others that individuals can re-establish a loving and secure relationship with themselves. Her approach to therapy incorporates Transactional Analysis (TA), body psychotherapy, and IFS to address a range of psychological challenges, with a particular focus on eating disorders such as bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. In addition to her one-on-one therapy work, Dunya also leads group therapy sessions at Ianthe House, providing individuals with the opportunity to share and learn in a group dynamic. Her work is dedicated to creating a compassionate and safe environment where clients can work through their challenges and develop healthier, more balanced relationships with themselves and their bodies.
