About
Dr Thomas completed his training in Gastroenterology in Leicester being added to the Specialist Register in 2007, before undertaking further advanced endoscopy training at Queen's Medical Centre. He subsequently completed an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at St Michael's Hospital, Toronto, an internationally recognised centre endorsed by OMED for excellence in therapeutic endoscopy and GI oncology education. He also obtained a Certificate in Therapeutic Endoscopy from the University of Toronto in 2007.
His specialist interests include ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (including therapeutic EUS), coeliac plexus block, advanced therapeutic colonoscopy with endomucosal resection and polypectomy, double balloon enteroscopy, and oesophageal endomucosal resection. Dr Thomas is committed to delivering cutting-edge, minimally invasive gastrointestinal care.
