About
Currently, Dr. Sen serves as the Clinical Lead for Richmond Community Paediatric Services and is the founder of MindOneSelf Ltd. She is widely respected for her diagnostic precision, integrative care, and thoughtful family engagement. Dr. Sen is particularly known for identifying complex and masked presentations of autism and ADHD, particularly in girls, and providing clear, evidence-based guidance for education, health, and emotional support.
Dr. Sen specialises in the following clinical and diagnostic areas:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including early years, subtle profiles, and high-masking presentations
• ADHD, including cases with learning disability, anxiety, sensory sensitivity, and sleep issues
• Executive function difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and demand avoidance
• Early developmental concerns and complex neurodisability
• Paediatric sleep problems in neurodiverse children
Dr. Sen holds several professional distinctions, including being a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH). She is also a national trainer and lecturer in ADHD and neurodevelopmental paediatrics and serves on the GMC & RCPCH CESR Subcommittee as an Assessor, Mentor, and Clinical Supervisor. In addition, Dr. Sen is a Certified Sleep Practitioner and PET2-certified in paediatric epilepsy management.
Dr. Sen is certified in various diagnostic tools including ADOS-2, ADI-R, DISCO, and the Griffiths Developmental Scales. She has also been trained in neurodisability, epilepsy, and complex developmental care.
Families and referrers choose Dr. Sen for her exceptional blend of clinical expertise, cross-sector leadership, and family-centred care. Known for her expert handling of complex and overlapping neurodevelopmental needs, Dr. Sen offers early and accurate diagnoses using gold-standard tools, ADHD medication oversight with NICE-aligned shared-care protocols, and outstanding support with EHCPs and school recommendations.
Dr. Sen works closely with SENCOs, early years settings, schools, and CAMHS, ensuring that each child’s developmental profile is fully understood and their educational and emotional needs are met through proactive, joined-up care.
With a background that includes volunteering with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity, Dr. Sen continues to be an advocate for vulnerable children through her Rotary work in youth education and mentorship. Her approach bridges NHS and private services, ensuring that families receive the best possible pathway to understanding, acceptance, and progress.
