About Dr Simon Paul
Dr. Simon Paul is an esteemed Consultant Rheumatologist and Sports Physician based in London. In addition to treating patients at his private practice location and video consultation, Dr. Paul also treats NHS patients in Surrey. The full list of his practice locations are: • 31 Old Broad Street • Spire St Anthony’s Hospital • Spire Gatwick Park Hospital • BMI Syon Clinic Dr. Paul specialises in inflammatory arthritis conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoarthritis, Rehabilitation medicine, Gout, widespread pain syndromes, neck and back pain. He set up his private practice with London Sports Orthopaedics in 2017. Dr Paul graduated with his medical degree from University College London in 1994. He subsequently undertook specialist training with the Royal Air Force (RAF), during which time he also served with the RAF in both the UK and overseas. In addition to his medical qualifications, he also holds a Bachelor's degree in Osteopathy. This wealth of experience has seen him work at some of the most prestigious hospitals in London, including Guy's and St Thomas', The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, and St George's Hospital. In 2006, he was appointed as an RAF Consultant at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre. He played a key role in developing policies on neck pain rehabilitation and chronic pain management, and provided expert guidance on back pain problems, neurological rehabilitation and complex medical rehabilitation. His work helped improve standards of care for service personnel across the MOD.
