Dr  Surenthiran is a Consultant Neuro-otologist who practises at the London Neuro-otology Centre and the Spire Alexandra and Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. Dr Surenthiran qualified from King's College Hospital, University of London, before undertaking his post-graduate training in London and Manchester, where he was also a lecturer at the University of Manchester. He was responsible for founding an NHS tertiary Neuro-otology Unit /Balance Centre in South-East England, which was a nationally recognised centre of excellence in the management of balance disorders,  as well as hearing problems and tinnitus. He and his team are now in full-time private practice at the London Neuro-otology Centre, in Central London.

He lectures at international conferences and courses and conducts research with colleagues in the University of London and the University of Kent.
