About Dr Paul McLaren
Dr Paul McLaren is a highly qualified General Adult Psychiatrist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders. He currently practices at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove and Priory Hospital Ticehurst House. His professional background includes a Senior Lecturer appointment in psychiatry at Kings College, London, and a role as a Consultant Psychiatrist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. Dr McLaren holds an MA and BA in Physiological sciences from Oxford, as well as an MBBS from London, and an MSC FRCPsych. He is also a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Dr McLaren's special clinical interests are in addiction and psychological trauma. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depressive disorders, bipolar, psychosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and sexual problems.
