About Dr Parag Jasani
Dr Parag Jasani is a Consultant Haematologist with an NHS practice at the Royal Free London NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals (UCLH). He also sees private patients at Spire Hartswood Hospital, Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital and HCA Healthcare UK @ UCH Private Care. He has extensive expertise in a wide range of haematology conditions, from general haematology to blood cancers. Dr Jasani treats patients with various blood disorders, including abnormal blood counts (such as anaemia, neutropenia, lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, polycythemia, and thrombocytosis), coagulation disorders (such as thrombosis and bleeding problems), and blood cancers (including lymphoma, leukaemia, and myeloma). He has a particular interest in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) and Lymphoma and is a part of the CLL service at UCLH. He is also an author of the London Cancer CLL guidelines and is frequently consulted for complex CLL cases and second opinions, both nationally and internationally. Given his expert knowledge, he is an invited speaker at international conferences. Graduating in 2001, Dr Jasani is fully registered with the General Medical Council and has been on the GMC Specialist Register since 2011. He completed his haematology training at Barts and The London NHS Trust in the same year. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Jasani is very involved in research as a principal investigator in various clinical trials and collaborates closely with international colleagues. His medical expertise includes treatments and tests such as chemotherapy, iron infusion, venesection, and bone marrow biopsy.
