He was appointed to a Consultant post in General & Geriatric medicine in Gloucester in 1990 and set up one of the first stroke units. He moved to Bristol as a consultant & senior lecturer in 2000 and was the clinical lead for the stroke service until 2013.
He served on the Inter-Collegiate Stroke working party and has been involved in the production of 4 editions of the National Stroke Guidelines.
He represented the RCP on the RCPCH Child stroke guidelines.
He has been involved in stroke service reviews throughout the UK and served as a member of the expert panel for the Northern Ireland stroke review in 2014.
Dr Baldwin is a Stroke consultant in Bristol, Gloucester and Worcester. He can provide face to face and remote consultations.
