About Dr John Chinegwundoh
Dr John Chinegwundoh, President of the CAMBRIDGE MEDICAL GRADUATES' SOCIETY is a Consultant Respiratory Physician, working within private hospitals in London and Surrey. He is highly specialised in the treatment of chest infections, breathlessness, cough, COPD/emphysema, asthma, bronchiectasis and many other respiratory conditions. Dr Chinegwundoh began his medical education at the University of Cambridge, graduating with 1st Class honours and the Albert Hopkinson Prize – from his college. He then went on to train in prestigious hospitals across London including the Royal Brompton Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Free and University College. He completed a fellowship at Columbia University, leading to his Doctorate in Medicine (MD). Following his training, he became a Consultant in 2004 and then in 2009 he was appointed to the Senior Chest Consultant position at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was Clinical Director for Medicine within the same NHS Trust for 4 years, Dr Chinegwundoh has been an active member of the research community, examining the mechanism of the immune system in the lungs, with a specific focus on Covid, cough, asthma, COPD, respiratory infections, and Interstitial Lung Disease. He has also been made a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and holds several professional positions like being a member of the British Medical Association, and President of the Cambridge Medical Graduates' Society, leading 2000+ doctors. Dr Chinegwundoh is a highly experienced physician, who can provide excellent care and much-needed relief, treatment, and improvement to patients suffering from respiratory illness.
