About Dr Jane Mcgregor
Dr Jane McGregor, Consultant Dermatologist, currently works within the Barts Health NHS Trust. She is a highly qualified specialist whose work centres around investigating the development and treatment of skin cancer, with a special interest in immuno-suppressed patients. Dr McGregor graduated with first-class honours from Cambridge University in her medical degree. Following this, she went on to complete her clinical medicine and pharmacology training at Guy's Hospital in London, before undergoing specialist training in dermatology at the world-renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology. Dr McGregor is a very active member of the research community, her work is regularly published in leading medical journals. She is recognised as an expert internationally in the field of skin cancer and the ethics of the treatment of cancers. Alongside her clinical work, she regularly contributes to medical education holding the positions of Director of undergraduate dermatology education at Barts and The London, senior lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London, and works as an examiner for the University of London Final MB. She also holds several professional memberships including the Royal Society of Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians, and the British Association of Dermatologists.
