About
Dr James Wylie is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust; an experienced oncologist practicing in urological cancers and sarcomas for over 10 years. His urology interests are in prostate, bladder and early testis cancer treating patients with radiotherapy (external beam and brachytherapy), chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Experienced in state of the art radiotherapy techniques he has also been responsible for setting up and developing the prostate brachytherapy service which is now one of the largest in the U.K. He is currently an examiner for the final examination of the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Wylie graduated from St Thomas's Hospital Medical School, London, in 1990 he trained as a Clinical Oncologist at The Christie and then undertook a Clinical Fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada.
