About Dr Iyad Ismail
Dr Iyad Ismail is a Respiratory Consultant, graduated from Jordan University of Science & Technology in 2000, after being awarded a merit scholarship throughout medical school by the United Nations (UNRWA). He completed his training in the UK (CCT) in respiratory and general medicine in 2014 and complemented that with a fellowship in interventional procedures from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Dr Iyad Ismail's overseas experience has helped him work in the NHS in many ways. Working in Jordan, a country known for its limited resources, meant he had to provide best and safest possible patient care with the available logistics. Dr Ismail is constantly self-critical of his practice against patient outcomes. This has helped him develop and refine both his skills and knowledge.
