His research interests are in immunotherapy, neuroendocrine immunology and corticosteroid resistances. A member of the London Consultants Association; A Fellow & member of the American College of Rheumatology, British Society of Rheumatology, African League Against Rheumatism, and a past section President of The Royal Society of Medicine, London, UK. He has been involved in setting up pioneering healthcare systems in southern Africa and USA for effective healthcare delivery; seats on of Board of Trustees of Arthritis Care Africa Foundation. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the European Medical Journal - Rheumatology and seats on the Editorial Boards of several other Medical journals.
