Dr David Wrench is a Consultant Haemato-oncologist working at London Bridge Hospital and Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated in medicine from Cambridge University in 1999 and went on to undertake his specialist haematology training in London, including St Bartholomew's, Hammersmith and Royal Free Hospitals. He completed a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute and has published lead scientific papers in lymphoma.
David has led a rapid access diagnostic service for patients who have lumps or masses or other symptoms suspicious for cancer. He is also a haematology lead for clinical governance including patient safety and is lead haematology doctor for a collaborative Mind and Body programme in Kings Health Partners to help patient well-being amidst treatment.
Dr. Wrench is active in research and his current research interests include the aggressive transformation of lymphoma as well as clinical trials of novel therapeutic approaches and his clinical interests include haematology, lymphoma, haematological malignancies and rapid access diagnostic and lumps clinic.
