About Dr Dan Glass
Dr Daniel Glass is a Consultant Dermatologist with over 23 years of experience in dermatology. He qualified in medicine in 1999 at the University of Birmingham Medical School and he completed his medical training in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians He has expertise in assessing, diagnosing and treating skin conditions in both adults and children, so is happy to consult regarding all of your family's skin care needs. Dr Glass sees patients privately at the Wellington Hospital, the Clementine Churchill Hospital and on Harley Street. He is a Consultant Dermatologist at Bart's Health NHS Trust and also an Honorary Consultant Dermatologist to the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and previously held the positions of Dermatology Clinical Lead and Skin Cancer Lead at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. Patients across London go to Dr Glass with all their skin care concerns, both common and complex, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles, rashes and skin cancer. He regularly performs skin surgery, including benign lesions removals. He also offers treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and keloid scars. Dr Glass has been actively involved in skin care research since 1993. He has research interests in skin ageing and the genetics of melanoma development and uses his previous research work in these areas to enhance his clinical practice. His research has been supported by grants from the European Union and The Wellcome trust, and Dr Glass was awarded a prestigious MRC research fellowship. He was awarded a PhD from King's College London for his research work on skin ageing and has been invited to speak on his work at international dermatology conferences. Dr Glass has also contributed to several book chapters and has been the author of numerous publications in high impact peer-reviewed journals. Dr Glass has served as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate undergraduate students. Dr Glass strives to provide the highest standards of care and dermatological treatment to all his patients.
