Dr Claudine De Munter is a French-speaking paediatrician and paediatric intensivist who trained in Belgium. For the past 17 years, she has worked in London as a consultant at St Mary's hospital Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and for the past 5 years at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children.

She was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) in 1998 and has been a consultant in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit since 1999. In addition, since 2006 she has developed clinical skills training for medical students and doctors utilising simulation technology.
Dr De Munter is known for building a rapport with her patients and recent completion of patient feedback forms at The Portland Hospital were incredibly complimentary, with all patients rating their consultation and care experience as very high.
Dr De Munter received an award from the Health Service in 2016 for the quality of her work (HSJ award).
