About Dr Catherine Mummery
Dr Mummery is a consultant neurologist specialising in focal cognitive disorders - she practices general neurology at Northwick Park Hospital and she is a clinical lead for the dementia service at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Dr Mummery has undertaken a PhD in cognitive neurology as an MRC Clinical fellow. Her research interest is in the functional network underlying semantic processing and alteration in patients using multimodal techniques including functional imaging. Her interest lies in in dementia and other cognitive disorders and she runs a weekly cognitive disorder clinic seeing patients with Young-onset and non AD dementias in addition to AD. She is also interested in epilepsy and how cognition changes in epilepsy.
