Dr Deepika Pannu

Dr Deepika Pannu is a skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery. She completed her MBBS at Maharshi Dayanand University in 2009 with a gold medal, followed by a Master of Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has since gained further qualifications including a postgraduate diploma in ultrasonography and membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). In 2020, Dr Pannu undertook a fellowship in obstetric ultrasound and foetal medicine. She is highly experienced in the diagnosis and management of conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain, and is proficient in advanced laparoscopic techniques. Dr Pannu is widely experienced in diagnosing and managing complex gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain. She is particularly known for her advanced laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgical skills, offering patients effective treatment with faster recovery times and reduced postoperative discomfort. Her surgical expertise includes: Advanced laparoscopic procedures Endometriosis excision surgery Myomectomy (fibroid removal) Hysterectomy (both laparoscopic and open approaches) Hysteroscopy and operative hysteroscopic procedures In addition to surgical care, Dr Pannu provides comprehensive women’s health services, including contraceptive counselling, pelvic ultrasound scanning (including 3D imaging), and management of abnormal uterine and postmenopausal bleeding using both medical and surgical approaches. She is also passionate about menopause care, offering personalised, evidence-based treatment plans to support women through this transition and optimise their long-term health and quality of life.
