About
Dr Dala Alhakim is a Pediatric Dentist at Shadi International Pediatric Dentistry Centre, Abu Dhabi. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Damascus, Syria in 2004 followed by a Diploma and Master's Degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the same university in 2006 and 2009. She is also a Member of the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Syrian Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Syrian Dental Association.
Dr Alhakim has over 14 years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry working in centres in both Syria and the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi). Prior to her current post at Shadi International, Dr Alhakim at Modern Dental Clinic in Damascus, Syria then worked at her own dental practice, Dala AlHakim Dental Clinic in Syria before moving to the UAE. After moving to the UAE, Dr Alhakim worked at Liberty Dental Clinic in Dubai for two years before moving to Boston Dental Center in Abu Dhabi where she worked until 2017. She began working at Shadi International Pediatric Dentistry Center in 2017.
Dr Alhakim has expertise in all areas of pediatric dentistry and has particular interests in aesthetic dental crowns, laser dentistry, conscious sedation for children, laser assisted pediatric endodontics and restorative dentistry.
