Dr Catherine Meller is an otolaryngology and ENT surgeon who specialises in head & neck surgery, and facial reconstructive surgery, rhinology and skin cancer at Sydney Centre for ENT and the Prince of Wales Hospital. She treats a wide spectrum of adult and pediatric ENT disorders, and she is able to offer cutting-edge face reconstructive and facial nerve reanimation surgery to her patients.
Dr Meller gained her medical qualification from the University of Sydney in 2007 before going on to complete specialised ENT training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She then spent two years in pioneering centers in the United States to master both medical and surgical elements of treating patients with facial nerve disorders, skin malignancies, and facial concerns including congenital and post-traumatic conditions.
Dr Meller is passionate about medical education and enjoys coaching junior physicians and holding training courses in collaboration with other health professionals. She frequently delivers lectures at scientific conferences and talks additionally about non-clinical themes such as 'Leadership in Medicine.' Dr Meller is also the Royal College of Surgeons' 'Women in Surgery' chapter's spokeswoman and a member of the Academy of Surgical Education.
During her free time, Dr Meller enjoys spending time with her young family, travelling, baking, and skiing.
