About
I have provided care to Worcestershire rheumatology patients since 2012 working as a Consultant Rheumatologist for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
I qualified from the University of Oxford Medical School in 2002. Prior to my medical training I completed a BSc in Genetics and a PhD investigating molecular aspects of Marfan syndrome. I completed my rheumatology specialist training in the West Midlands before being appointed as a substantive consultant at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
I offer patients investigation, diagnosis and management of a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and perform joint and soft tissue injections. I have a specialist interest in early inflammatory arthritis and greatly value the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of rheumatology conditions.
I am a member of the West Midlands Rheumatology Service & Training Committee, a member of the Midlands Rheumatology Society executive committee and the rheumatology audit and quality improvement lead for my NHS Trust.
