About
Carol Lindsay, a dedicated Nurse, began her nursing journey in Perth, Scotland. She earned her nursing qualification from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and later enhanced her education with a degree from Dundee University.
Carol's early career was spent as a staff nurse, where she specialised in laryngectomy and tracheostomy care on Ear, Nose & Throat and maxillofacial wards, as well as in a High Dependency Unit. She thoroughly enjoyed her work during this decade, but the challenges of shift work became more difficult after starting a family.
Carol transitioned to a new chapter in her career, spending seven years as a GP Practice Nurse. In this role, she worked closely with her own patients, providing a wide range of treatments including wound care, leg ulcer treatment, vaccinations, ear syringing, venepuncture, cervical screening, ECGs, suture removals, flu clinics, and minor injury assessments.
Carol is now excited to bring her wealth of experience to Optimal Clinic, where she will be setting up and running the new vaccination clinic.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
