About
Dr Bryce Jackson is a Plastic Surgeon specialising in skin cancer, melanoma, breast, hand and cosmetic surgery. With advanced surgical training and a strong commitment to ongoing education, he is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Dr Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury before completing his medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Otago. He undertook his specialist plastic surgery training in New Zealand and later completed a Surgical Oncology and Microsurgical Fellowship at the internationally renowned Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute in Melbourne, Victoria.
As part of his practice, Dr Jackson participates in multidisciplinary cancer meetings at both the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Western Health, ensuring collaborative decision-making and comprehensive treatment planning for patients with complex conditions. This team-based approach allows him to deliver integrated care, particularly for patients requiring oncological and reconstructive surgery.
Dr Jackson provides a wide range of reconstructive and functional procedures, including hand surgery for conditions such as fractures, soft tissue injuries, Dupuytren’s disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and ganglion cysts. He also offers comprehensive management of skin cancers, including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma, providing treatment from diagnosis through to advanced surgical removal and reconstruction.
In addition to his reconstructive work, Dr Jackson performs cosmetic procedures including body contouring, breast augmentation and rhinoplasty. He also specialises in reconstructive surgery following trauma or cancer treatment, including breast reconstruction, pelvic and perineal reconstruction and sarcoma reconstruction.
