Dr Bryan Beattie

Dr. Bryan Beattie is a distinguished figure in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, serving as the Founder and Executive Chairman of Innermost Healthcare. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1983 and has since become a sub-specialist in Fetal and Maternal Medicine. Dr. Beattie holds the prestigious RCOG/RCR Joint Diploma in Obstetric Ultrasound, further solidifying his expertise in the field.

As a pioneer in maternal and fetal medicine, Dr. Beattie played a pivotal role in establishing the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society. He is internationally recognised as an expert in pregnancy care and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and events worldwide.

Dr. Beattie's passion for education in pregnancy care led him to found the Innermost Academy, a registered charity dedicated to enhancing knowledge and understanding in this critical area. Through the Innermost Academy, Dr. Beattie aims to improve access to quality education for healthcare professionals and expectant parents alike.

His areas of interest and expertise cover a wide range of topics, including fertility, miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage, fetal medicine, maternal medicine, and various prenatal screening tests such as the NIFTY test and Harmony test. Additionally, Dr. Beattie is proficient in pregnancy ultrasound techniques, including 4D scans, and procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS). He also provides private antenatal care services and specialises in non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) for conditions like Down's syndrome And more recently genetic cancer screening.
