About

Brian is an online-only nutritionist, counsellor and psychotherapist who brings together counselling, CBT, and a strong background in nutrition and behaviour change. His work is grounded in a warm, collaborative and evidence-informed approach, supporting clients with issues such as eating disorders (binge eating, anorexia, bulimia & ARFID), disordered or emotional eating, anxiety, low mood, body image concerns and stress. Brian did his master’s research in binge eating in gym-going men in Ireland.
Brian has worked with hundreds of clients since 2017, helping them understand their behaviour patterns, ease their struggles and build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food and themselves. He focuses on empowering clients with new skills so they can move forward confidently in their own lives, often describing the best part of his work as “helping people reach the point where they no longer need me.”
Alongside one-to-one work, Brian is also an experienced educator and speaker, having delivered seminars and webinars at major organisations such as Meta & health events including Wellfest. Outside of his work, he enjoys weight training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, hiking with his dog, travelling, reading & watching movies.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”

— Mr Brian O’hAonghusa
