Areas of interest and expertise : Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Trauma, Sexuality and Gender issues (LGBTQ+),Relationship issues, Family Dynamics, Self Esteem, Life Transitions and Neuro Diversity. I have particular interest and experience working with clients with autism and parents of children with autism.
Client Focus
I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space for individuals seeking therapeutic support. I hold a BA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School and I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
My core training is rooted in the person-centred and humanistic approach to therapy but i believe that therapy should always be led by the client, with the therapist remaining open-minded and responsive to each individual’s unique experiences, needs, and pace. My work is guided by the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship difficulties, stress, trauma and PTSD, as well as supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my approach thoughtfully while remaining grounded in empathy and authenticity.
I believe that therapy is dedicated time for the client – a space to explore feelings, thoughts, and experiences, whether rooted in the past or present. I supports clients in understanding issues that may be affecting their personal relationships, daily life, or contributing to anxiety, low mood, or emotional distress.
Above all, I am committed to offering a calm and compassionate environment where clients can work through difficult emotions at their own pace, with the aim of easing anxiety, reducing emotional pain, and fostering greater self-understanding. I believe therapy is for everyone, and that everyone is deserving of care, understanding, and support.
