Dr Brandi Cole is a Specialist Sports & Exercise Medicine Physician. Dr Cole completed their Medical Degree at the University of Sydney in 2008, having also obtained an undergraduate Degree in Physiotherapy from Sydney University in 2003. During their specialist training in Sport and Exercise Medicine, Dr Cole also completed a PhD on optimising the management of rotator cuff dysfunction through the University of New South Wales in 2018.
Dr Cole consults on all musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic, in all ages and levels of sporting participation. They also manage medical conditions related to or produced by participation in physical activity. Dr Cole has interest and experience in managing all aspects of performance during international travel including jetlag management, fatigue, sleep, nutrition, and immunisations.
Dr Cole has a special interest in exercise for health during pregnancy and the post partum period for both recreational and elite athletes. They are passionate about managing conditions related to the female athlete, the young athlete and acute and chronic football injuries. Dr Cole also has a wealth of knowledge in the management of shoulder pain and is equally skilled in treating pain and dysfunction in all joints of the body.
