About
Dr Bogdan Selejan is a Specialist Orthodontist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles through modern, evidence-based orthodontic care. Since qualifying as a specialist in 2014, he has built extensive clinical experience treating both children and adults, with a strong focus on achieving stable, long-term results through personalised treatment planning.
Dr Selejan provides a full range of orthodontic treatments, including aligner therapy, Damon system braces and conventional fixed appliances. He has particular expertise in interceptive orthodontic treatment for children and teenagers, helping guide facial and dental development at an early stage. He also enjoys managing complex adult orthodontic cases, often working as part of a multidisciplinary team with restorative dentists and other dental specialists to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.
Dr Selejan is a Registered Specialist in Orthodontics with the Irish Dental Council. He is also a member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland, the European Orthodontic Society and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Selejan regularly attends international postgraduate courses, specialist conferences and study clubs in order to remain at the forefront of modern orthodontic techniques and technologies.
Originally from Transylvania, Romania, Dr Selejan completed his specialist orthodontic training at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș. He now lives in Dublin with his wife, Mădălina, who is also a dentist.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time in nature, playing sports, listening to music and reading.
